Big fan of this game! Cannot wait for a full version! I come back to it and replay it every so often because of the beautiful art and little details. How did you program the stealth mechanic? Did you edit scripts? Or was it just default event commands?
Hi! I used RPG Maker 2k3, so it's just event commands. It's pretty simple ^ ^
Unfortunatley this game is hiatus, since I'm working on something else right now. I'd like to finish this eventually, but I'm not in the right mood/mindset now! Thank's for playing :D
Loved this game. I really hope that a completed version is released, I would totally buy it. The RPG elements mixed with the mystery and puzzles were awesome. Such a minor detail, not sure if it's a default in RPG Maker, but I loved watching the main character squat whenever he looked at something on the floor.
Thanks a lot! I really appreciate that. The project is in hiatus, right now, but it will be completed, eventually! The "squat" is just another pose of the main character. I always do that in my games, I think it's a nice detail :D
Very very unique gaming experience! I really like the kind of puzzles in the game and the sort of art style it uses. If I didn't know better, I would have confused this for a AAA title. Nice job! You can check out my playthrough in the vid below!
I still haven't checked out your game, but there's one thing I would like to say: I can't put into words how happy it makes me fell that Games made on older versions of RPG Maker still compete at the same level as the modern ones.
I absolutely love RPG Maker XP and 2003, and sometimes it hurts to think that these Engines may become obsolete and left behind someday. I'm glad to see that I'm wrong, I'm glad to see that the power of events can still compete against Scripts and Plug-ins, that a game can be as great as any other game, even without High resolution graphics or framerate and all of those things.
Congratulations, guys! I've just found you on social media, and I'm definitely going to follow your work from now on.
But the problem is that it has become too old for me too. I like the feel of old graphics and I like how the events work. And I totally hate how they ruined the event system in the newer versions... but damn, we are in 2019 and I just can't accept to make a game in a 4:3 resolution >__<"
And the 256colors is probably the biggest limit. D:
We'll see...
I'm thinking on moving to MV. But I'll still use the retrò pixel art graphics, that's for sure!
Oh, where I begin? This game is absolutely amazing! In game there was so much to do and look. These puzzles was creative and really fun to solve, not too hard but not too easy. I didn't believe that only DEMO game made me feel that I have been playing this a long and I know what kind of characters they are. I REALLY HOPE THAT YOU CONTINUE! I wanna know more! I seriously could buy full versio.... And yea, I made a video as well. :)
What an amazing experience, nec[H]roma was a great game for me to play! The characters had so much life the interactions with the items in there house hinted at so much before they talked about it. A great tutorial that didn't feel like a tutorial at all. A story that just pulled me in and at the end left me wanting to know more. I made a video they may be a bit long but I wanted to make sure I left everything to show this games atmosphere.
And I leave you with one last thing: "Oh, poor Yorick! I used to know him"

The eye puzzle is driving me nuts! XC
You mean the last one before the exit? You can do it in few moves, don't worry : D
I'm too dumb *cries in stoopid*
Press all the corners, the central one and the top one. It should work! :)
I'm working on it! Thanks for your feedback :D
I really liked the puzzles that are in this game, makes it feel a little like how Silent Hill had its puzzles.

Thanks a lot! :D
I really appreciated the video. I laughed a lot XD And of course, all the comments you left during the video will help me to improve this game.
I hope I'll find the time to finish the game and let all of you play the complete version ; )

Thanks a lot! I still prefer the good old 2003 XD
